I am always inspired and fascinated by the works of Hungarian illustrator Willy Pogany. His illustrative works for children books, poetry and other books had been oriented heavily with fairly tales, which were considered as "Art Nouveau" (New Art), a new art style that embraces graphic art, architecture and decorative art.
Of all of his art works, I mostly admire his pen and ink pieces. The heavy dark lines in his works are dreamy and warm. His pastel and watercolour works also bring out the mystical and surreal atmospheres.

Other of his works such as book covers also showed interlace patterns and ornamentation of Celtic Art.
